Step 1: The Spark – From Idea to Sketch It all starts with a spark. Sometimes it’s our own idea for a new shape, and more often, it’s a request from a client or designer with a specific vision. That idea becomes a drawing, then a computer model. At this stage, we calculate proportions, angles, and technical details, making sure the design is not only beautiful, but also functional and safe.
Step 2: The Raw Material – Choosing the Brass We don’t compromise on quality. Our raw materials – brass rods, tubes and plates – are carefully selected. We examine the shade, thickness and quality of every piece that comes to the studio, because we know that the foundation must be perfect.
Step 3: The Creation – Cutting, Processing and Assembly This is where the magic happens. Each part is cut to the exact size, polished, polished and screwed. It is a Sisyphean and meticulous handwork. Then, the assembly begins. Like a 3D puzzle, all the pieces are connected to each other, the electrical wiring is carefully threaded, and the light bulbs are installed. Every step is performed by us, here in the studio in Tel Aviv.
Step 4: The Finish – The Art of Aging If you have chosen a light fixture with an “aged” finish, this is where it takes on its unique character. Through a controlled and precise process, we accelerate the development of the brass’s natural patina, giving it a rich and deep appearance, as if it had been there for years.
Step 5: Final inspection – ready to light Before each light fixture is packaged, it undergoes a rigorous quality and integrity test. We make sure everything works properly, the finish is perfect, and the product is ready for the journey to your home.
